Public Complaints About Policies/Procedures

The Albemarle Regional Library is a public institution devoted to its mission to provide modern library resources and services necessary to satisfy the evolving informational needs and recreational pursuits of the community, thus enhancing the quality of life in Bertie, Gates, Hertford, and Northampton Counties.

In order for the library to meet its mission, internal procedures have been developed to implement the policies which govern the institution; these policies were approved by the Regional Library Board of Trustees. If a library customer has a concern about library policies and/or procedures, he/she will be given an opportunity to discuss the concern with appropriate library staff. Unresolved customer concerns will be addressed by the Library Director and, if necessary, the Library Board of Trustees.
